I was reading the Lita Ford book. She finished the BLACK album - called it quits..... And got married. She moved to Utah or Oregon - had two horses - bored to death etc... She found out Joan Jett was playing at a local club 2 hours away - she and husband went. Lita hadn’t seen Joan in 15 years. Imagine. Joan met her coldly then ignored Lita - almost instantly. Ouch !

What are we talking about here? Looks? Musical talent? If looks, I'll take in her prime Lita. If musical talent, then Joan it is.

Assuming we're talking music then it's Joan easily for me. I've always enjoyed her music. I really liked her last album too.

I don’t care for either... but I know that I at least like one song by Lita. The song she did with Ozzy. Joan Jett’s music is very boring to me. Sure it’s well written rock radio staples, but her music is like background music or like hearing a jingle for a TV ad.
For female fronted rock, I much prefer classic Pat Benatar.

C'mon, listen to this single from Joan's album. This sound EXACTLY like you'd expect Joan Jett music to sound. And it sounds GREAT even live:
Joan's musical chops completely blow Lita's out of the water.

And as if I needed more evidence, while looking for Joan Jett music on Youtube I found this where she plays with Foo Fighters.
C'mon...Lita? Seriously?

Looks factor, Lita all the way, but I'm hoping this us based on music, so it's Joan for me. I'm not a huge fan of hers, but do like a lot of her songs. More of a Pat Benatar fan myself.

Joan all day, and I'm probably a bigger fan of Lita's music. You can't even compare the two.
On another note, did Joan have a stroke? Her face is fucking weird these days. Or does she have Bells Palsy or something?

Well, I find myself in the minority......again. In my opinion, Out for Blood kills anything Joan could ever even try to come up with. Guitar talent? And the hotness factor? Hello? Do these not matter any more?

No, not for me really. For a while the object of my teen lust was Kerrang pin up girl Lisa Dominique
Unfortunately she sounded like this!
And if you were wondering what she looks like 30 years later
Still gorgeous! (But I'm guessing still a terrible singer )

Why is Ted Nugent picking on Joan Jett ? It’s not her fault she was voted in the top one hundred guitar players ? And incredibly she’s now touring with Def Lep and Poison and CRUE.

Ted is very opinionated. But I agree with him! Players that strum their guitars like Joan Jett and Kurt Cobain should never be rated higher than a virtuoso. Publications like Rolling Stone have ranked players like Eddie Van Halen at #8 and Randy Rhoads at #36. Gotta love the overrated and always predictable choice of Hendrix as #1… I can see how he was a huge influence and a pioneer within his era, but guitar playing has drastically progressed since he was the king of the hill. Ritchie Blackmore was around during Jimi’s heyday and could play circles around him. And a few years after that, Uli Jon Roth. I’d even put Tony Iommi above him! And why is Prince higher up than Randy Rhoads? WTF! Are we talking mastery of the guitar, or songwriting? Big difference. Plus Randy was killed way too young. https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-lists/100-greatest-guitarists-153675/stevie-ray-vaughan-4-156927/
