I remember seeing this when it came out and was just hooked. I don't really get all the comments about this tune being a rip off of Bon Jovi as I have never once thought of "You Give Love a Bad Name" after hearing this song.

Remember when videos had a whole story line and plot to them?
Nearly 4 minutes of lead-up before the music even begins! Ahhh, the glory days of MTV!

My wife and I were watching that Michael Jackson doc 'Leaving Neverland' the other night and we got to talking about how fun and exciting it was for MTV to hype up new release videos.
Even though I wasn't a fan, it was a big deal to watch the "World Premier" of the newest MJ video. We'd gather around the tv just to watch. 'Thriller' was like a 20 minute mini movie!

Wow ZEBRA - was EXTRA cheese !
Was Huey Lewis persuaded to try to outdo " Thriller " video ? I always thought Huey was good - and that song typifies pure summertime in L.A in the 80's.
That first Y&T video was great - like Back to the Future movie almost too.

It was just the theme of the coke-filled 80's. Anything worth doing was worth over-doing!
