| The Colts look completely outmatched. I'm hoping the Cowboys/Rams game is better. | |

| Yeah, this game is a blowout.
I am SO rooting against the Rams in that game (to the surprise of no one).
Make no mistake; I don't like Dallas either but after the Patriots the Rams are my most-hated team in ANY sport. Nothing against any of the Rams' players really but it's all about the owner, the sub-human known as Stan Kroenke. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| As long as there is not a Dallas vs New England Super Bowl, all is right in the world. | |

For me, a Rams vs NE would be far worse. Good grief, I HAAAAAATE both teams more than words can explain. Just even THINKING about the possibility makes me want to curl up in a fetal ball. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Well, I was rooting for the Colts...but at least KC is "fresh meat" and I was rooting for Rams (sorry Toho, can't root for Cowboys ever, plus never had a problem with Rams, plus I want a Chargers-Rams Super Bowl so was can have the best looking uniforms in history against each other.
Really, now I just DON'T WANT THE PATRIOTS!!
Every other team left in the Tourny either has 1 or Zero SB wins...so I can live with anyone but the Pats.

Fortunately I was busy cleaning the house so I didn't have to endure the debacle. I'm sort of torn in the Saints/Eagles game. I'm actually sort of tired of the Saints wilting in the post-season all the time so if they manage to beat the Eagles the Saints will only lose in the next round anyway. But the Eagles are a Philadelphia team. Having grown up in a town about 50 miles from Philly I just inherently dislike Philly teams because we were always inundated with information about them. Plus they have Nick Foles who utterly worthless with the Rams (when they were still here). _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Wow. Where was a throw like that from Foles when he was here???
EDIT @ 4:27pm CST: Now THAT'S the Foles we knew and despised. But you know as this game goes on I find myself pulling for Philadelphia, maybe because they're the underdogs. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Oh boy, Maroon 5 joined by two hip hop artists. Be still my heart; I can't wait. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Yeah, I always skip the halftime show.
I like Foles...I like his story. His suckiness with the Rams was Fisher's fault.

| No wonder the ratings for "Puppy Bowl" go up every year. Good grief, Maroon 5 and hip hop. Holy crap.
And I'm inclined to agree with you about Fisher being at fault for Foles failing here. Just look at how good the Rams got as soon as they fired Fisher. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Has the Super Bowl halftime show ever been good? Even when they had the Stones and McCartney perform I avoided them (of course I'm not a fan of either). | |

| The last time I even bothered to watch the SB halftime show was many years ago when it featured The Who. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

It's pretty bad when the Chiefs are my least-loathed team remaining. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| I'm hoping for a Chiefs/Saints Super Bowl. I really have no preference on who would win but the hype over Mahomes is getting a bit much. I swear every national sportscaster gets out the rubber gloves and KY Jelly when they start talking about him. | |

| I'm with you about those teams for the SuperBowl but I like Mahomes, especially after his dad was on MLB Network. His dad was a former MLB player so maybe that helps explain why and how Mahomes can make some of the throws he does. His dad was a pitcher and started him throwing at a young age. I think that makes Jr. more interesting. Pat Sr. had an 11 year MLB pitching career with 6 different teams so that tells you two things; one is that he wasn't completely effective but two, a lot of teams apparently thought he could be. So here's a kid who grew up with a major league pitcher dad and somehow manages to incorporate the different deliveries an MLB pitcher makes into his own NFL game. To me that make the Chief's QB an interesting story.
Also there's the overriding fact that they're playing New England and I might be able to root for pretty much anyone at QB for the Chiefs if it means beating the Cheatriots.
And naturally I root for ANYONE to beat the Rams, except maybe New England. I swear, if it comes down to that I probably won't watch a minute of the Super Bowl. I'll plug in Gotham - Season 4 instead. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
