You're stranded on a desert island but miraculously you still have a way to play your favorite albums (batteries, solar panels, who knows?...don't overthink it). So what FIVE albums (it was TEN in the last two threads on this topic so this is more difficult ) would you consider essential to have with you in order to keep some form of sanity?
Some of mine are the "usual suspects" from the last time we did this but some have also changed.
What say you?

Since this is the Heart of Metal, I am going to say that only my metal collection came with that day [otherwise, this list may not have any metal on it].
Metallica - Master of Puppets Saxon - Denim and Leather W.A.S.P. - W.A.S.P. Loudness - Thunder in the East Accept - Metal Heart

That would be very hard to pare down to just five. Can't I just take my iPod with me? It has over 12,000 songs on it and I won't have to choose.

1) Mercyful Fate, Don't Break the Oath 2) Slayer, Show no Mercy.....with the bonus tracks from Haunting the Chapel on it lol 3) David Gilmour, Live at Gdansk....not going thru life without hearing Echoes again, but don't wanna be stuck with Meddle as a choice, cause just not enough music on it! 4) Judas Priest, The Collection CD....it's basically Rocka Rolla and Sad Wings combined on one CD. 5) Black Sabbath, We Sold our Soul...

This is a bit harder than I thought, because thinking about it - I think variety is more important than just picking the top 5 records.
I think I'd want 1 aggressive thrash album, 1 noodly prog album, 1 melodic pop metal album, 1 dragonslaying true metal album etc.

Jellyfish - Bellybutton
Great album.
I would have:
Metallica - St. Anger 2wo - Voyeurs Opeth - (any) Geoff Tate - solo album (any black metal album)
These albums would inspire me to leave the island ASAP and to forge a raft from palm leaves and coconut husks. With some great thrash on a loop, I would get far to comfortable in the sun there.

I think I would have to go with some stuff that's a bit diversified. It would be easy to just pick my top 5 metal albums but I know I would want some other stuff as well.After all, I'm stuck on this island til I die. It would probably look like this;
Led Zeppelin IV Beastie Boys-Licensed to Ill Queen-The Game Cinderella- Long Cold Winter The Crucified- The Pillars of Humanity
