| Various March Madness games.
So far the only real upset is Loyola Chicago beating Miami. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| March Madness
Well it finally happened. After 135 straight losses, a #16 finally upset a #1 seed. And not just any #1 seed, the overall #1. And it was a blowout to boot. UMBC completely dominated UVA. They're saying UMBC stands for "U Must Be Cinderella". Actually it stands for University of Maryland Baltimore County. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Talking sports with co-workers as the tournament started (as we all root for ACC teams) and we all said Virginia would choke. We just didn't know it was going to be in the first round!

It was inevitable that eventually a #16 would beat a #1 but I always figured it would be a last second buzzer-beater or something. UMBC just completely dominated UVA. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Just watched Syracuse upset Michigan State.
It's pretty amazing that every year one of the "First Four" teams has made it to the Sweet Sixteen. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Yep! And she "blessed" them again today. Great win over my hated Vols. And it continues...Loyola Chicago destroys Kansas State to advance to the Final Four! | Probably no one (except maybe Loyola's faithful) but, coming from a guy who really couldn't care less about March Madness, they got me pulling for them (doubtful but still).

| Same here actually. They might even get to the championship game given they're facing Michigan. But I think Villanova or the winner of Duke/Kansas would destroy them. But it's still fun to once again have a "Cinderella" team in the Final Four. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| That game was a tossup for me; I like both teams. That half of the final four should be a great game. But I fear that the other side of the final four isn't nearly as strong. Either Villanova or Kansas should destroy Loyola-Chicago or Michigan. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| I did have 3 of the Final 4 teams (Kansas, Villanova and Michigan). I did have Loyola going to at least the Sweet 16. I thought Cincinnati would slow them down, but since that never happened,... | |

| Watched the Cardinals' season opener against the Mets. New season, same ol' redbirds. Error for an unearned run in the first, lousy starting pitching, worse relief pitching and 15 team strikeouts. We got 4 runs off Syndergaard in 6 innings so with even an average performance the Cards should have won. Instead we lost 9-4. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
