Chuck Mosley: DEAD

Not surprising, but such a shame. =(

“After a long period of sobriety, Charles Henry Mosley III lost his life, on November 9th, 2017, due to the disease of addiction. We’re sharing the manner in which he passed, in the hopes that it might serve as a warning or wake up call or beacon to anyone else struggling to fight for sobriety. He is survived by long-term partner Pip Logan, two daughters, Erica and Sophie and his grandson Wolfgang Logan Mosley. The family will be accepting donations for funeral expenses. Details to follow when arranged.”

Kind of heartening that, after struggling for so long, he got to perform with Faith No More again before he passed.

R.I.P. Chuck Mosley.

I remember a few years ago, he was asking the public for money because his family was homeless.

Was it alcohol or drugs? Or a combo?

That's a shame. Addiction is a terrible disease.57 is too young.

Sad news indeed. RIP.

A really sad one. It was Chuck's version of FNM that I really liked. Never cared for Mike Patton.

Its a shame, he did not have the range or the songwriting of Mike Patton, but Chuck Mosley was an original. I did not get into Faith No More til the album 'Epic' like everyone else, and did not discover those early albums til later on.

He did attempt to continue with his music career, he had a decent band that released an album, 'Cement' but that went nowhere.
Its shame.

RIP. I really liked the two albums he did with FNM. I couldn't and still can't stand The Real Thing except for Edge Of The World.

That's funny, because The Real Thing is the only album of theirs that I like as a whole. Maybe it's because Jim Martin had more influence at the time.... I love the title track and their cover of War Pigs is amazing!
