Best Song Off Armored Saint's La Raza

After Revelation, it was another ten years until Armored Saint's next studio album, La Raza. According to Urban Dictionary La Raza is a civil rights advocacy group for Mexican-Americans, meaning "the people."

The album seems to have gotten good reviews, but it is my least favorite. I'm not sure how memorable it is, as I think I've only heard them play "Left Hook From Right Field" live. I do not like "Little Monkey" at all, and there are very few AS tracks I don't at least like to some extent. "Chilled" is a good song, but I think it could have gone in a different direction or the theme of the lyrics could have been driven home more. It just seems a little disjointed to me. I had check marked "Get Off the Fence" when I first listened to this album a while back. Listening to it now, it doesn't really jump out at me. "Black Feet" I think is the best track on the album. It has that pleasant, almost dreamy sequence and then just rocks.

Chilled for me.

I'm going with Left Hook From Right Field.

Aside from "Left Hook From Right Field" this album did absolutely nothin' for me. Very disappointing stuff.

Haven't revisited this album in a while. I should.
