Just saw this on Blabbermouth and went "COOOOOL!"... till I saw that all the tour dates are in Europe... figures Still a neat idea though...


W.A.S.P. Announces 'The Crimson Idol' 15th-Anniverary Tour - Oct. 4, 2007

W.A.S.P. has announced the details of its "The Crimson Idol" 15th anniversary tour, which is set to kick off at the end of October and run into eary 2008.

Commented the band: "For the first time ever, 'The Crimson Idol' [album] will be performed in its entirety live. Never before has this great work been attempted to be performed this way. The live performance will feature all of the music from the original album but in addition, never-seen video footage will be shown throughout the show from beginning to end. This filmed footage was shot in 1992 and was originally designed to be a full-length movie.

"To commemorate the 15-year anniversary of this milestone album, it will be presented in its original story form. This promises to be a powerful and moving live experience. Being done in selective dates worldwide in 2007-2008.

"Don't miss it... Jonathan STILL lives here!"

7 dates in Norway!!!! Way to go, Blackie!

I can't go though. Too many other activities going on these days. UDO and Primal Fear are here in October. Gamma Ray and Helloween in December. Nightwis is coming. And Then we have the Nordic Fest. Add to that my daughters birthday, my birthday and my wifes, and I have very little time, or money, to see all the concerts.

Oh yeah, I have the frickin' Strawberry Festival to look forward to. Go cry somewhere else about all your shows and no time for W.A.S.P.!

If WASP play near me again we will go. I love THE CRIMSON IDOL but i hope he doesnt play all the album and then walk of from stage. Last time i saw them they did a 60 minute concert. NOt enough for a headliner band.
