Singer is ronnie romero from a band called lords of black.
A very talented singer indeed.
I recommend you check lords of black's albums. Excellent stuff.

I liked Joe Lynn Turner a lot until I realized how much his voice sounds like Lou Gramm's. I still enjoy the Rainbow albums I've got that he sings on, but it still irks me just a little bit since I had that realization.

Great vocalist aside, he has turned every great hard rock band he has joined into pop rock drivel...

Dude! The entire history of Rainbow was Ritchie + whatever musicians he wants to work with for whatever reasons he wanted. Personally I felt let down when he hired JLT

Dude! This is a reunion show to play old songs for the die-hard fans. And while Dio is no longer with us, both JLT and Graham Bonnet are fully active musicians. I'm not even going to ask why no one else from the old line-ups is not involved...
Look, Ritchie is one of a kind, no one is going to take that away from him, but as huge as his ego is, even he should realize that those classic albums ARE classic also because of the other participants too. And if you are going to announce a RAINBOW concert, you better make it a reunion, for the fans that made you famous in first place. That, of course, is my own opinion.

I for one like JLT - his albums with Rainbow, Purple, and Malmsteen are all great.

So these shows seemed to come and go without a whole lotta fanfare. Was Ritchie just going through the motions here so folks would stop asking him to play rock again?
From the clips I watched, he seems to be playing with all the excitement of warm tapioca pudding. And that stupid f**king pilgrim hat.

Ritchie Blackmore said that was it, no albums, no tours, just him having fun playing his old songs again.
Curiously most of the set consisted of Deep Purple classics, he did say if they do anymore gigs in the future, he will drop most of Deep Purple tunes and include more Rainbow classics.

I just listened to the first Rainbow album today and so far am enjoying it. Never really gave the band a listen, but I honestly enjoy this stuff more than most other 70s HR/HM I've heard (such as the early Judas Priest albums, which weren't all that). I wanted to see where the power metal genre emerged, as I was in the mood for some slightly cheesy fantasy-fused rock and roll.
