New stuff:
Beasto Blanco - Beasto Blanco Dead Daisies, The - Make Some Noise
Not sure where I've been, but apparently this is the third album by The Dead Daisies. Not sure if the first two are any good, but Make Some Noise kick ass! Old school, gritty, hard rock.

I have the first two. They sound basically like the track you posted. One is an EP and the other is a full album. From the EP:

I listened to a few tracks last night. They sounded good. Seems that both albums are hard to come by these days. At normal prices, anyway.

I stumbled upon this death metal band today called Hemotoxin...
I had no choice but to buy both of their full length albums...

I assume the first Dead Daisies album was released normally as well, but it came stuck inside the only issue of Classic Rock magazine I've ever had (got for a Christmas gift). I listened to about half of the CD and dropped it in a stack that was going to goodwill. Ha.

Random thrift store pickups:
Billy Squier - 16 Strokes: The Best of Billy Squier Uniform Choice - Early Demos (I generally don't go in for hardcore very much but that was just too weird to pass up for a dollar)

If you aren't into hardcore you might not care, but that's some good shit right there.

You're a poet and you didn't even know it. Haha.
I don't dis-like HC, I just don't know much about it. I saw a few hardcore bands live back in the day, and my brother listened to his share of it when we were growing up, but I never dug deep enough into it to be much more than a casual "fan."
...apparently this CD I just picked up is a collectible, tho, cuz there's a copy on eBay for around a hundred bucks right now. Bonus! Haha

Listening to this on Bandcamp now. These dudes really were one of the best. There are few bands that I slap the "shoulda been bigger" tag on because in most cases, even if I love the band, it's not really the case, given the amount of thrash or glam or whatever genre bands there were coming out of every crevice on the planet...but these dudes shoulda been bigger!

Yeah. They're one of my favorite bands and they deserved better.

I unlocked and achieved a major Metal Nerd Bucket List Item today - my name is in the "thanks" list of a CD.
A while ago I gave our pal Stormspell a hand with some editing and rewriting for the liner notes to his then-upcoming anthology CD for the Cleveland area thrash/death band TERROR ("Decades of Terror") ... I got my copy in the mail today, and Stormy gave me some props for "editorial assistance" in the booklet. Woohoo!
As someone who spent far too much time as a teen obsessively memorizing the lyric sheets, liner notes and thanks lists to every album. I owned, this is obviously a bigtime geek moment for me.
Stormy was kind enuff to throw me a couple of other freebies as a thank you for helping him out, so I also got:
Blazon Stone - "War of the Roses" and "Ready For Boarding" (EP) Thundershield -s/t
Thanx for the opportunity and the goodies, Storm.
