Believe it or not I have never owned a single volume of the M.M. series till now. When I heard that Hastings was about to go belly up I found this one and Vol. II in the "clearance" section of their website so I ordered both.

That's cool.  II is very good. One of the best of the series along with V.  

I need to get a copy of number V.

Knowing me and my collector's OCD, only having two of the Metal Massacres will probably bug the hell out of me after a while and I'll start trying to track down copies of the rest. Haha.

I was lucky enough to buy 1-9 all at once from Sentinel Steel Records about 10 years ago when they sold them as a set for only a few bucks.

Mendes Prey was a good NWOBHM band. A lot of their music has a definite southern rock feel to it.
