Same here. They are like one song to me.

This is the last Priest album I can put on and just listen to straight thru from beginning to end.  After this album the "skip" button becomes a necessity for me.  I made a playlist about a year ago with everything I wanted from Defenders thru Redeemer of Souls on it, it serves my needs.

The Hellion is just an intro, it really shouldn't be counted as a separate track.

There's only a few times I've been surprised by a TV commercial -
You gotta admit, this entire thing is kinda corny -

jumped off the couch, with wife looking on curiously,
as he shakes both his fists at the sky - wife = 'WTF ' ( to herself)

If the Hellion/Electric Eye would have been together, then it might've barely received my vote, but since they're separate, it's going to "Fever", though "Devil's Child" comes in a close second.

I disagree, it is listed on the vinyl as track one with writing credits given in parenthesis and running time. Usually, an intro is labeled as such.

That is just like saying "Heartbreaker" and "Living Loving Maid" are one song because the radio always played them together.

The Zep tunes are almost always played back to back b/c they were a "double A side" right?
I'm with James on the inclusion of "Hellion" as a separate track. I remember hearing that it was supposed to be a full song with lyrics but was not finished in time so it was included as a separate instrumental and not an intro to "Electric Eye."

Ha, I just realized I didn't pick a song. This is one of my fave JP discs and I love every tune here. So, on any given day it could be any one of the tracks. But today, it's the title track.

Uh, no, it's not like that at all, more like "Gothic Stone" into "The Well of Souls" from Candlemass. While both are considered "tracks", they are both most definitely intros to those songs, and nearly inconceivable to be separated...

I wouldn't say that...

I think SFV is more consistent, although I think DotF has higher highs (e.g. Jawbreaker, The Sentinel).

One of those rare instances of an album where every track has equal weight--not one song outshines the other. Compositions here are genius. I can't even pick a favorite.
