Not surprised Nakamura won back the NXT title in Japan. I hope Joe debuts as the Royal Rumble for Smackdown.

Wow, you're right. My friend at work and I have always remember Big Show doing that.
I asked my fellow wrestling fan at work if he remembered who threw Rey Mysterio head-first into the side of a trailer back in WCW and he said "Of course, Big Show". I sent him the link above. Funny how the memory works...
I gather from the video that this happened after a 6 man tag match between Mysterio, Macho Man and Bagwell vs The Outsiders and ? Was the other person Show? That might explain why both of us thought he was the one who threw the "lawn dart".

I was just waiting for Ellsworth would turn on Ambrose. It will be interesting to hear his reasoning.

He said on Talking Smack that since he has a WWE World Title shot he'd rather face AJ since he "has his number" and WHEN he wins he'll give Dean the first title shot.

Nope. This was on July 29, 1996, where Jimmy Hart interrupted a 6 man match between Sting, Luger, and Savage against Flair, Mongo, and Benoit, screaming "They're here!!" or something like that, basically saying the nwo was invading. Show was the world champ at the time, getting ready to drop the belt to Hogan at Hog Wild on August 10. Show didn't join the nwo until September 2.
Here's the second half of the match I'm referring to. Fast forward to 7:10 to get to Jimmy Hart coming out calling for help.

Wow. I'm watching RAW and they just debuted the newly slim-downed Big Show to face Rollins. Holy crap! Show looks great! Kudos to him for finally getting in shape.
...And of course it looks like we're getting another Show character change. He chokeslammed Owens, left him for Rollins and was high-fiving fans on the way up the ramp. Back to being a face apparently. Oh well, at least this one makes sense because it's hard to hate on a guy who has worked so hard to lose so much weight.

HAHAHAHA!!!!
As I stated in the "Now Watching" thread tonight I watched Santa's Slay for the millionth time to kick off my annual holiday horrorfest. Still enjoyable as hell and just loaded with cameos so this time I decided to look up the entire cast on IMdb.com.
Guess what I found? There's an uncredited cameo in the stripper bar scene by none other than infamous WCW booker Vince Russo. So of course I had to backtrack to that scene and sure enough Russo is the bar patron who gets electrocuted when Goldberg (Santa) kicks a stripper pole into his hands and then into an electrical outlet.
That has to be intentional. Goldberg electrocutes Russo.

Talk about a dumbass. Even if you didn't know the guy was a pro wrestler look at the arms on him; wouldn't you pick an easier target? Especially knowing it isn't even a real gun.
Seriously, this lady is doing something wrong if her kid expects Kevin Owens to give him a high five. When I was young and into wrestling I would never expect Ted Dibiase, Mr. Perfect, or Iraqi sympathizer Sgt. Slaughter to high five me. They were the bad guys, I expected them to do bad guy things.

When I was a kid we were ringside at an event at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. I think it was on Christmas night. I remember the Iron Shiek looking at me and I said "USA!". He said right to me "USA SUCKS!" and he spit right at me near my feet... And I thought it was awesome!
But yeah, that's KO's character that mom can get over it.

I'm watching RAW. I hadn't checked the result of the PPV.
This crap of swapping the women's championship back and forth every couple of weeks is ridiculous. Sure Sasha and Charlotte have been putting on some great matches but good grief, it sure minimizes the women's title when they keep exchanging it every couple weeks.

Especially when the one they portray as the "Queen" loses all the time on live TV. Makes her 18-2 all-time and undefeated PPV since joining the main roster record almost null and void.

Can't stand Corbin but a feud with AJ has potential. I can go the rest of my life without a Cena return.

Yeah I don't like Corbin either. I'm not really sure why though. Maybe because he's such a bland character with no identity.
But I did REALLY enjoy watching AJ smash the crap out of "Turtle Boy". Hopefully that's the end of Ellsworth - unless they just use him as a jobber to put guys over. He did look pretty believable taking bumps from AJ and getting the living hell beat out of him so maybe jobber boy is a good role for him going forward.

Corbin is really just a white Bad News Brown. Also if you notice with his finishing move, he's basically giving himself a Rock Bottom.

The most ridiculous part is that before the sudden death of the match, Sasha tapped out with only a few seconds left which caused the tie in pin falls. It's not like she couldn't see the clock and you had the fans chanting the count down. It's not believable that such a "serious" competitor couldn't hold out that long.

I haven't quite figured out what that Corbin finisher is supposed to be. Every time I see it it just looks like two guys falling to the mat.
EDIT: Even after watching this I still can't figure it out. To me it looks like he's helping his opponent give him a neckbreaker. Or at the very least, a lariat. It's still s dumb finisher. Not as dumb as the Superman Punch though; that still reigns supreme and maybe even challenges the Hogan Legdrop and the People's Elbow for stupidest move ever.

It's the rock bottom, just imagine his opponent is doing the move from a standing position and you can see it.

I still don't see it. Look at this comp of the Rock Bottom; The Rock finishes on top. Corbin's finisher ends with his opponent on top and Corbin has to throw him off to get the pin.
Yeah it's obviously a derivation of the Rock Bottom but the way he executes it just makes it stupider. The Rock Bottom is basically a chokeslam using a lariat instead of grasping the opponent by the throat.

Now that I've watched those two compilations back to back, Corbin's finisher is essentially a reverse Rock Bottom.
That's still a dumb finisher IMO.

I'm watching the open of Smackdown and it's hilarious.
Cena is opening it so right away we get mixed "Let's go Cena!" and "Cena sucks!" chants. Then Cena makes it worse by talking about the Cubs. Apparently this venue is on the south side of Chicago and there are more White Sox fans present so now we get Let's Go Cubs vs Let's go Sox chants.
Cena then follows that up by talking about the main event featuring Ziggler, Corbin and Styles in a three way for the championship. And of course the crowd boos both Ziggler and Corbin so Cena has to try to explain why they're cheering for "the heel" Styles.
Cracks me up.
BTW, during today's Texas Bowl the North Texas band started playing Cena's entrance music. So of course they lost to Army 38-31.

S2H, another wrestler I absolutely hated. Still, I think the Superman Punch is the dumbest move ever along with his "Drive By" move. WWE is so PC changing the FU to the AA, banning the Curb Stomp (for more than one reason) why is Drive By allowed?
I thought SD Live was a solid show and I really like 205 Live.

Speaking of leg drops, Axelmania is back, at least at house shows. Axel is also using the big leg drop as a finisher.
