| Good. I think EY is a better heel than his goofy face persona. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

This team cracks me up.
"How you doin?"
I like them; they're different.
The Vaudevillains on the other hand are about as interesting as watching grass grow. I like the Vaudvillains gimmick but they aren't doing it justice. I've been stoked to see all the NJPW talent WWE is signing. I never liked AJ Styles until he went to New Japan and I don't know why but once I got my wife into wrestling more and she watched my TNA DVDs with me she liked AJ and Jeff Hardy whom I didn't like either until a week ago or so.

I like both personae but I have to agree as a heel he's better. That voice of his goes better with a heel character.

I've got it. I figured it's actually cheaper than buying the major PPVs when you look a yearly cost.

| Don't have it. Doesn't mean I don't want it but it isn't a high priority. I'm a fan of the classics. I have several dvds : AWA, World Class and the history of the heavyweight title comps. Before the network we had it on demand. They had Prime Time Wrestling episodes on there and they were free. Loved to watch those. I just don't feel I'd have time to watch it and my wife isn't interested. We have stuff on our DVR that's been there for a year so we prob need to get caught up on that stuff first. | |

| I have quite a few WWF/E dvds, Blu-ray too so now with having the network I focus on TNA, ROH, etc DVDs and ROH is willing to work with WWE Network too. Anybody else notice it lags a lot at times? It hast done it as bad lately but a lot of times it's been unwatchable and we have great wifi. I almost got it on launch day but I waited like a year I think. | |

Our wifi is great too and I sometimes have that problem. It seems to do that mostly with live PPVs. When watching old stuff I don't have any problems.

The only time I get lag is during PPV events. Mania this year only lagged briefly, but was fine otherwise. When I first got the Network it would lag frequently.

| Raw is in St. Louis tonight so Cesaro was on the local news this morning. He's pretty funny. He showed more personality in this 5 minute interview than he ever shows on TV so it's just like I thought, the stupid writers don't give him anything to say. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

That looked scary, especially when his eyes rolled back in his head.

That looked scary, especially when his eyes rolled back in his head. He has been released from the hospital and suffered a concussion. Not sure how long he will be out.

| Interesting. Watching the evening news and Sheamus spent a couple hours signing autographs at a local Cricket Wireless store. They're saying over 200 people showed up. He was totally out of character as he talked about how as a pro wrestler he owes everything to the fans who show up at the events and buy the merchandise and how fun it is to come to St. Louis (which has LOOOOONG history of being a hotbed for professional wrestling).
He did still talk with an accent though which I've always sort of wondered was fake. Guess not. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

He really is Irish: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sheamus I saw him on Conan a few times and he is quite entertaining. They set up a dummy with a Conan wig on it and Conan wanted to see a Brogue Kick. He knocked the manequein's head off! Seems to be a pretty good guy for the most part.

| Well, the stubborness of wanting Reigns to get over is still going on: http://www.wrestlezone.com/news/705711-ryback-shoots-on-wwe-contract-dispute - Quote :
- WWE Edits Anti-Roman Payback Photos
WWE might not be able to control controversial social media posts from their currently contracted wrestlers, but they can control what appears on their ridiculously hard to navigate new website. You might have noticed at the Payback main event between Roman Reigns and AJ Styles that one fan was holding a sign that said “When it Reigns, it bores.” That’s a solid, two-point pun. But WWE didn’t feel that way. As Richy Wilson on Twitter pointed out, their website’s photo gallery of the match has the “it bores” part of the sign digitally erased, so it only reads, “When it Reigns.”
As for the rest, if you haven't heard, Ryback has been stirring the pot: http://www.wrestlezone.com/news/705067-ryback-speaks-out-on-his-wwe-status-says-wwe-may-very-well-release-me-talks-leaving-raw-meeting-with-vince-and-more

| Of those the one I feel sorriest for is Sandow. The guy can wrestle and I think he has some personality. WWE just didn't know what to do with him and saddled him with bad gimmick after bad gimmick.
Remember when Sandow was acting like the second coming of Lanny "The Genius" Poffo? He'd invite a fan into the ring and offer him money if he could answer 3 questions. The first 2 would be real, simple obvious ones and the third question would be some arcane piece of knowledge no one would know. Then Sandow would mock the mark for being stupid and there was much booing. They should have stuck with that gimmick. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Hopefully he might be able to get work in Japan. He could go to TNA but Roode and Young both left because TNA owed them money and there is no telling how much longer that company will be around.

| I think the whole "Mizdow" thing totally killed him. That was amusing for all of about 3 seconds but WWE dragged it on and on and on. And it's not like Miz was superhot at the time either. Nothing like making a character be a caricature of a guy who's not white-hot to begin with. I just saw this Forbes article about the releases. Here's what they had to say about Sandow (it's right on IMO): - Quote :
- Sandow, who has already been released once before by WWE back in 2007, burst back onto the national scene in 2012 as “The Intellectual Savior of the Masses,” a gimmick that quickly won over the fans and showed his potential as one of the top heels on the main roster. But Sandow’s career ultimately wound up being one big example of the WWE failing to properly utilize him.
In 2013, he won the coveted Money in the Bank briefcase, but instead of going on to win a World title as a result, he became the first MITB holder to ever lose his cash-in match. His career never recovered, either. Despite performing well in any role he was given, including a ridiculous “stunt double” gimmick, Sandow never seemed to have the full support of the creative team. When he was a red hot babyface in waiting at WrestleMania 31, the WWE chose to have Big Show win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal instead of Sandow, who had pulled off a great rivalry with The Miz that was based on his absurd tenure as a stunt double.
