Still haven't heard "Evil Twin" but "Fatal Illusion" is pretty bad-ass. Quick Robin, to the YouTube!

Fatal Illusion. Both songs hark back to each respective band's second-gen sound, but being that I've never been a huge Anthrax fan, the Megadeth has my heart.

I quite liked Worship Music and thought that Suprcolander sucked ass, but this time round it's Megadeth by a country mile!!

Both are good, but I'm sure other songs will be better once the full albums are released. The vocals are the weak link on the Anthrax tune.

I'm going with "Fatal Illusion." It has great songwriting, unsettling lyrics (reminiscent of "Black Friday), and impressive soloing from Dave and Kiko.

"Evil Twin" is also really good. It beats out the new Megadeth song as far as vocals and memorability are concerned.

Even though I'm not in love with the vocals on the new Megadeth song, "Fatal Illusion" by a landslide! I love the Peace Sells vibe it has going musically, but I wish the vocals were a little bit further down in the mix. Normally I'm good with Belladonna's vocals, but I think on this occasion it doesn't fit the song. I think "Evil Twin" is mediocre until about the last 1/3 of the song, but even then it just doesn't do much for me.

My main criticism of Fatal Illusion is that it's clear that Dave has gone for a Peace Sells vibe, but the drums are machine like. A looser style would have sounded better. It's still the best thing from this band in a long long time.

Fatal illusion for sure. The Anthrax song wasn't very good in my opinion. It was mediocre to me.

I think Joey isn't 100% happy with his situation in Anthrax, and it shows with his lackluster vocals on the new song. He knows he wasn't their first choice (John Bush) and they kinda settled on him... I wouldn't be surprised if he left the band sometime in the near future.

I would be very surprised if he left Anthrax. Look at what he was doing without them.

Megadeth - Fatal Illusion

I like them both but I'll give the edge to Anthrax.

Did you think Dan Spitz was gonna leave after they made Sound of White Noise? What about Chris DeGarmo... Sometimes when someone isn't happy they leave, regardless of the bands status or popularity.

Fatal Illusion is a good one too.

So far, it looks like most people prefer the Megadeth tune more.

Another vote for Megadeth's 'Fatal Illusion'
