Most of us (at least the older ones of us) have heard "Hot Child In The City" but nick had some really good songs on his albums..any fans?

Yeah I only knew of Hot Child In The City. That other stuff is not too bad.

Yeah, not too bad, I had never heard the others either. And when this song was new (Hot Child) I thought it was sung by a chick (hey I was about 8 years old). And even seeing footage of him singing it, I still thought it was an ugly chick.

I saw Nick Gilder open for Styx back around 1978=79 when Styx was on the Grand Illusion tour. Wish I could remember something about either set but I was in college and you know how that goes.

Yep, play Nick Gilder a lot still to this day.. The flip-side of the Hot Child single , Backstreet Noise, was argued by us in elementary school if it was "punk or not".
