Caught the last quarter of this. Is Foles that bad that they have to start Keenum? He looked totally ineffective.
Followed that up with the Packers/Vikings game. Looks like the Vikings aren't quite ready for prime time yet. And lastly, I see Fox Sports (Bradshaw,Johnson, et al) have gotten out the ky jelly and rubber gloves now that Romo is back with the Cowboys. That's the kind of QB play we've had all year. Foles/Keenum - same thing. I sure hope Sean Manion is up to speed by next year. If the Rams' O line wasn't so beat up I'd actually be advocating for Manion now but there's no point in bringing the kid in to just take a beating. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

If the Rams could get any offense going at all they would be a playoff team. That defense is legit scary. | |

| I hope the nightcap is closer than these first two game today have been.
Detroit totally destroyed Philly 45-14 (and it could have been worse if the Lions hadn't backed off). And now I'm watching the Carolina/Dallas game and the Panthers are clobbering the Cowboys 30-6. Romo threw 3 picks (two were pick sixes) in the first half.
At least these games have been going the way I want them to but I'd like them to be a little more competitive. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

I was telling my wife before that that I thought that he came back too early. It was pretty obvious in the first half that Romo wasn't himself. Not that I'm complaining; I hate the Cowboys. They ruined so many of my childhood Thanksgivings by beating up on my Cardinals so I reveled in this game. Plus now they're a collection of felons, druggies and spouse abusers so they're even more hateable. Too bad for Romo though, I actually respect him. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

I thought that was the Dodgers Nope. I only despise the Dodgers; there are actually teams in MLB that I dislike more (Yankees, Angels, Braves, etc.) _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Getting ready to watch Michigan/Ohio State.
I want the Wolverines to win because I love when the college playoff committee has to deal with curveballs. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

I was watching that but I got bored because I'm indifferent to both teams so I switched over to Premier Boxing on NBC. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

I'm hoping Auburn upsets Bama just to mess with the standings. We will see. Yeah, that's another benefit of rooting against Notre Dame. I love stuff that messes with the neatly laid out plans of the championship committee. And yeah, Barra ate that final punch right in the mouth. I was surprised he eventually got up. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Dammit!
Stanford took the opening kickoff and marched down the field for a touchdown. But before I could even get done mocking Notre Dame, they returned the ensuing kickoff for a TD to tie the game.
I hate Notre Dame. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Rams vs Bengals. I was hoping that the Rams could help the Steelers out (didn't really expect it though) but that didn't happen. Bengals clearly outclassed the Rams 31-7. | |

| The Rams desperately need two things, a QB and an O-line.
There's actually a conspiracy theory around here that the Rams are sandbagging on purpose on orders from Stan Kroenke. The theory holds that if the Rams suck enough, fans will stop coming to the rest of the home games and Kroenke can use the empty seats as evidence to the NFL that the Rams should move to LA.
I don't buy that; I think they just suck on offense. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Cmon Steelers! I thought they might be pulling away but a pick and 2 plays later the Seahags scored.
At least they missed the PAT. I hate the Seahags _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
