That album doesn't play in my car. Most CDRs don't. Still super-annoying. You need a car with a USB port. Since I got one back in 2011 my CD obsession has gone waaaaaay down. That coupled with my purchase of a SanDisk sport has finally cured me of my aversion to legal downloads. These days, unless the CD + shipping is super-cheap I buy the download. Then stuff like a flimsy CD becomes irrelevant.
EDIT: I also like that I don't have a bunch of CDs laying on the passenger seat anymore. Damn things used to end up all over the inside of my car. Before we had our son, my truck had a port for my MP3 player. Unfortunately I had to get rid of the truck when we had the baby and got my wife's old hand-me-down Jeep while she got a new Rav4. Hers has the port for MP3 players, but the Jeep has an old system with a CD player and tape deck. And all the cones in the speakers are busted, so the drums on everything I play sounds like wet butt cheeks flapping together. Haha.
But yeah, I prefer to take an MP3 player. And honestly, I'm cool with a digital collection now. I'd sell my entire collection if I could do so all at once. Hell, I'd sell it at a heavily discounted price just to be rid of it all. My sympathies. The only places I really listen to music these days are in the car and on my 3+ mile walks. So "wifey" would have to take the vehicle with the crappy speakers. But I get it, you have to pick your battles. I'd rather just not even enter the war. Another in the long list of reasons why I'm single _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| With your HUGE collection, I wonder what the price of something like that would be. | |

No idea. If you did an average of $5 an album, that'd be over $50K. It's worth more than that, given the rarities and such, but I'd sell it for less just to be rid of it all. | |
