Metal songs about animal rights.

Other than the obvious Tourniquet songs like Ark of Suffering and Stereotaxic Atrocities... What other bands have songs about animal abuse? All I can think of is Megadeth's Countdown to Extinction title track.

All have songs about this and all have members that are vegan

Not sure I know any metal bands off hand, but I could name many hardcore bands that fall into this category.

Yeah, I'm sure there is plenty of them in that genre.

Does 'Madhouse' by Anthrax have a double meaning? I thought that 'At Dawn They Sleep' by Slayer was about the night worker when I was younger.

"Kill Floor" by Galactic Cowboys is about a person that works at a slaughter house. I don't get anything anti/animal cruelty from it... Just a guy that goes nuts after work from being subjected to killing everyday.

It costs twice as much per month to rescue an animal than feed, clothe, house, and give healthcare to a child. Imagine that, I saw the commercial on TV.

I'm sure Hellbastard did a few as well.

They can write as many songs as they like. I love wearing my leather jacket and eating a nice juicy steak. I'm a proud member of the other PETA (People Eating Tasty Animals) .

I'm not a vegan or vegetarian. I was just curious what other metal bands sing about this stuff?

Actually, Tourniquet might. They apparently have a sense of humor. It was mentioned in one of the Intense Live series involving them, that some of the crew would order a meat lovers pizza as a joke. Ted and the others took it well.

Do Purified in Blood count? They have a hardcore background but are totally metal.

Sure, why not?

Can't think of a reason to be honest. I personally would like to see more done to help animals via music, but it's tricky with so much bad stuff going on in the world. Songs about the enviroment also help as animals live in places we're destroying fast (I know that was fairly 'state the obvious').
