MUSIC HAUL (CD / VINYL / DVD Purchases) 2015

U.D.O. - Rev-Raptor (w/ 2 Bonus tracks and videos)

I ordered a few CDs:

-Krokus- Metal Rendevous...over the past few months of listening to this on Spotify, it has become probably one of my favorite rn'r records period.

-Krokus- One Vice at A time. This one isn't on Spotify, but I do like "Long Stick Goes Boom" a lot. I have no idea why it took me so long to explore these dudes beyond the few songs I've known from MTV as a kid.

-Keel- Lay Down the Law

-KISS- Smashes Thrashes & Hits. I only have KISS stuff on vinyl these days, and my turntable is broken. My 3-year-old son has recently become enamored with KISS and asks me to put them on the stereo (instead of the videos we normally watch), so I ordered this for $5 from Amazon for that reason.

-KISS- Killers. I realized that even though I have heard the 4 exclusive tunes, I've never owned a copy of this on any format so.

A few month ago, I got a copy of their "definitive collection" after folks here talking about how good they were. Despite never owning a single Krokus album in my life, I knew (or at least recognized) practically every song on there. Funny how that works, ain't it?

Don't know that I'll ever dive too deep into their discography, but that hits collection will garner many listens from me.

Wow. Didn't know these guys were still kicking about. Haven't heard from them in a long time. Might need to pull out an old album and see if there's any interest in something new.

Both are really good bands. Nothing you've not heard before, though. Me, either, which is why I tend to buy their albums used.

I revisited the 2 Chrome Division albums I have. Their debut was good, but the follow-up left me kinda "meh", which is probably why they fell off my radar.

Metal Rendezvous is one of their best IMHO. Hardware has the same vibe - you might like it as well.

Metal Rendezvous is one of their best IMHO. Hardware has the same vibe - you might like it as well.

I want to grab that soon. I'm trying to get all the Sabbath deluxe editions, and BA is possibly my favorite Sabbath record, or pretty high up there.
