Shortly before all the legal drama exploded, he did a comedy special on HBO (I think), and it was terrible. He was a rambling old man telling go-nowhere stories. I can't imagine his material has gotten any better since his career nose-dived.
Yeah, the wife and I caught part of that when it premiered and it was such a let down. Abe Simpson is/was more coherent.

I don't understand your justice system. What does 3 to 10 years mean? There is a pretty big difference between the two.

Don't feel bad, with "time served", "parole options" and lack of prison space we don't understand it either. Odds are he's out in a few years.

Haha! That's the thing about the 80's, nothing was quite what it appeared. Also if you would have said that Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Prince and George Michael would all die through drugs but Iggy Pop, Ozzy Osbourne, Motley Crue and Guns N Roses would be doing just fine you wouldn't believe that either!
