Unless I missed it, I can't believe it hasn't been posted yet. This is one of my favorite versions of it also.
Rush, La Villa Strangiato.

Anyone who has been paying attention will know that I've had a bit of a thing for Japanese fret board botherers this year.
Syu is generally considered to be the best guitarist in Japan, which is a pretty big boast considering the competition but on this showing it's not hard to see why he's so highly rated.

Hit shuffle on my Flotsam collection this morning on the ride in and this gem popped up...

This is another good one. Not on the level of Flotsam and Jetsam, but not many are.
Assassin, Speed of Light.

You can't expect me to go back through pages. I'm a busy man. I've got things to do.

Just got done listening to some of this album on YouTube (really need to hunt it down one day), and heard this song. Pretty cool song I think.

This came up on my shuffle this morning on the ride in. The Crue in general never get much recognition for their music ability, but Mick gets to show off his chops a little here.
It's not flashy but has a lot of emotion.

I've been too hard on Mick Mars and it seems my perception has evolved. He's a fine musician.
I was looking through another Crue thread and noticed how harsh I was. I apologize. Knowing what he's pulled off since Crue's inception AND battling a serious disease which would pummel my abilities on guitar gives me way more respect for the man. And that track MG posted has totally turned me. Wow.
