I heard Suicidal Tendencies "Suicyco Mania" for the first time in a coon's age yesterday and thought of this topic. Couldn't find where it was talked about before.

But what are some of your favorite metal instrumentals?

The first person who says "Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth)" gets a sucker.

Another vote for Metallica's "Orion" here. I love that damn thing.

Overkill's cover of Edgar Winter's "Frankenstein" is pretty killer too.

I'm sure there are more but I can't think of any off the top of my head. Must need more caffeine.

"The Crusade" by Trivium.

Allot of folks write these guys off as posers or trend-hoppers or whatever, but dang if that ain't a catchy tune. And I like that a young band can thrown on a decent intrumental at the end of the cd. Very old-school mentality.

thats a great cd regardless of what ppl think. To me music is music regardless of who the band might sound like. If it catches my attention thats all that matters. It seems that ppl dis bands or hate them because they sound like other bands too much. Trivium is the perfect example as they come off to everyone as Metallica and Testament rip offs when they are just playing the music they love.

All in all a good band in my eyes and a great instrumental there
