I don't know (or care) what's obscure and what's not any more. But I don't think that Reek are terribly popular and I dig them a lot

Another Minneapolis gem of a band with gross stage antics.

Cyclone is the shiz, but I doubt I'll ever find a copy of their album that isn't bootlegged.
Some essential death/thrash to mix up the thread a little bit.

Pretty cool band this demo got re-released by Stormspell records. One of those early bands that kinda blurred the lines between thrash and death.

Shrapnel from the U.K. I'm not sure that new bands really count as obscure but these guys are intense and I have to post it somewhere.
The whole album is amazing

Wow, Sodom/10. I'll definitely have to look into picking this one up, I can't keep up with all these new bands.
Time to take off the kid gloves, here's the "Lord of the Dead" demo from Mantus (Connecticut.)

Definitely, I had no idea this was released in February. I figured it was something I missed a few years back.

Maybe not obscure to some of you guys but I've never heard of Thrashfire, they are from Turkey and just the kind of messy chaos that i love it my thrash!

That Crionic sounds very good! I love that muddy thumpy demo sound.
Here's something pretty similar soundwise, but from 2009: Antichrist - Put to Death
