Rob Halford seems to be loosing his marbles lately

I hate to say that about the metal god but hes now praising Michale Buble's singing and praises Lady Gaga in other words he been talking a lot of crap lately.

In other words his opinions are different to your's therefore he must be insane.

Buble is a fantastic singer, great technique and fitting for his style. Gaga is at least unconventional compared to the cookie cutter Billboard warriors these days. I don't see a problem. He sounds lucid to me.

He's always talked about stuff like that and praised musicians from other genres.

He wants to pop Michale's Buble while dressed as Lady Gaga.

I saw Michael Buble live with the wife last year and while he might not be anyone's cup of tea 'round these parts, there's no questioning his talent as a singer. Whether a heavy metal singer likes him or not shouldn't (and doesn't) concern me.

It is truly metal to appreciate a talent when you see it, no matter what the genre or the medium...

Do you think Diamonds and Rust or The Green Manalishi songs came from the metal genre?

I like Lady Gaga too.

I am not a fan of Michael Buble the man has singing chops, and Lady Gaga love her or hate her, she knows how to write a catchy tune.

Lady Gaga is absurdly talented. Nothing wrong with praising her. Don't know anything about Michael Buble, but if the dude is a fan, whatever. People dig all kinds of things, man.

Something that gets lost a lot is that to people who came up in the 60s and 70s, pop was The Beatles. It wasn't shlock or whatever gets passed down the plumbing these days, so they don't tend to place the same negativity on the genre tag that younger audiences might.

Hell, to them, if someone said what they were doing sounded "pop" in the 70s or even early 80s, their reaction was probably, "Sweet! Maybe next month we'll be able to eat something other than cold beans from a can!"

So if Rob Halford does actually loose his marbles, what will happen to them? Setting marbles free is an odd thing to do, but I suppose he's earned the right to be a bit eccentric.

I'm a fan of classic/traditional heavy metal, which includes Judas Priest. I am also a fan of the much hated 'adult contemporary' genre which includes mellow, conservative music like Buble. And lastly, a big fan of electronic music, including dance-pop, which Gaga is currently the spearhead for. Both Gaga and Buble have their merits, though honestly I'd prefer Buble over Gaga in the long run when you consider that Sinatra or Belafonte can be found in my collection. But when it comes to female dance-pop superstars, I still think Madonna had better songs, at least in her early days when she was doing Papa Don't Preach and Material Girl.

I may not want to hang out with Rob Halford and end up forced to listen to his Spotify playlists, but I definitely don't think he's lost his marbles.

He just needs us to turn him on to some new tunes that have balls.

I think Fingers may be onto something here. In a related interview, Rob was asked what he likes for breakfast and he said a bowl of raisin bran and coffee with cream and sugar. C'mon!! Really? He should drink his coffee BLACK!! That's metal.

If anyone wants me, I'm off to sell all of my Priest and Halford albums. Pfft. Metal God? Hardly.

Buble is fantastic. I don't really have an opinion on Lady Gaga. And after all, it's just his opinion. Nothing wrong in stating that.

Metal musicians tend to be open-minded people that appreciate many different styles of music. Too bad so many of their fans don't follow their examples.
