The aforementioned three are way too unique to be labeled a specific genre or two. |

| Death and black should really be separate categories (I wouldn't vote for them, but just mentioning). I mean, there are probably dudes on steady diets of Cannibal Corpse that have zero use for Darkthrone or Immortal, and vice versa. | |

A lot of prog & power fans feel the same way. I guess it's easier for people who don't really understand the distinctions between the styles that they don't like to just lump them together. _________________ | |

Also wouldn't put hair/sleaze up there as it isn't a real genre anyway. IMO, the main genres would be: heavy thrash power prog death black doom | |
