| I think we can all agree with my choices for the main sub-genres of metal. What do you listen to most?

| 1970s metal and new bands that sound like 1970s metal.

| Nowadays, I'd probably go with "Traditional". Old-school, classic thrash would be right up there too, however, I'm over the "new wave" of heshers. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

I sampled a couple tracks, not bad, a little too much southern rock influence for me, I guess I should go back and clarify "1970s UK & European Heavy Metal".

I would've picked that. But then I listen to a little of everything except death/black metal. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

But then I listen to a little of everything except death/black metal. This Yea, looking over those choices again, I'd have to say all but the death/black stuff too. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Yea, they're good. One of the newer "retro" bands that I keep revisiting. They have a certain flair that keeps me coming back, unlike some of the others that have sprouted up in the last few years (Scorpion Child, I'm looking at you) _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was.
