I've gotten less and less concerned over lyrics. Doesn't mean some lyrics don't rub me the wrong way. However, if the music is good enough I can overlook it. Pro Satan lyrics aren't a problem with me because I know there are no REAL Satan worshipers (the Church Of Satan are admitted athiests). My problem is with Christian hate. I will listen to Mercyful Fate, but I will never give the time of day to Deicide or any similar group/artist.

There's a certain level of irony involved in any kind of hate towards a religion because most people who exercise it seem to boil down to "This is irrational, immoral, yadda yadda yadda," and make the point by being incredibly irrational and emotional.

May I direct your attention to militant atheists...
