| Metal Massacre IV holds soooo many memories for me that it was an easy choice. Ended up completely loving the 3 on either side of volume 4, but those after did nothing for me. Still wish some of those bands would have released more music. | |

| Voted V because of Voivod & Hellhammer but i only ever picked up the best of. They were hard to find and expensive in the U.K. A lot of the bands showcased on these records I discovered through the MFN comps like Hell on Earth, Hell Comes to Your House & the Speed Kills series. | |

| There was 3? I only knew about 2 of 'em [with and without Ratt]. I guess just lump the first one all together. | |

| V for me. It has the better selection of bands on it (namely Omen,Metal Church,Overkill and Fates Warning) not to mention the awesome tune End Of Time by Jesters Of Destiny. | |

| Metal Massacre 9 doesn't seem to get much love.Metal Blade even chopped off half of 9 so it could fit on a cd with 8. The most famous bands on 9 were probably Faith or Fear or Oliver Magnum. Anyone that wants mp3's of the missing tracks from the cd can PM me. The only information that I don't have is for The Wrath's "MIdnight Madmen".It's not the same "Wrath" that was an 80's thrash band. The Metal Archives don't even list 'em. | |

| You forgot to add a choice of "Never Heard Any of Them". _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

"Cold Day In Hell" by Steeler "Tell The World" by RATT Cool. Thanks ! At least they weren't anything exclusive to that disc.

Cool. Thanks ! At least they weren't anything exclusive to that disc. The Steeler song is pre-Yngwie, though.

| The only one I ever heard was 9 back in 1993. I especially remember Chaos Horde, and also the Toxik song "Wasteland" that I never saw released anywhere else. | |

| I got lucky - bought the “ GRIM HARVEST “ Box set for 75 bucks on EBay. Years ago. It’s much more costly now. $300-400. I heard Hetfield say something about the collection - He gave it very high praise. Surprised me. Anyways, I put a cd on at night, fall asleep after3-4 songs. It’s that good ! | |

| I only own Vols. 1, 2, and 4.
I guess my favorite would be Vol. 1 for sentimental reasons. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"
