| I guess I have to confess. I'm taking the wife to see Blue October on October 4th. It'll actually be the third time I've taken her to see them in the last 3 years. It's her favorite band. I know they're not metal but they actually put on a pretty good show and have a few good songs. | |

| Well, this is more about what concert would you really have liked to have gone to but you only found out about the night before it was on!!

I may try to make a few phone calls and see if anyone wants to go but I'm on lates at work so I might end up defeated on this one but three great bands for a miserly £10! | |

| I saw a death metal show earlier this month, by a local band by the name of Abattoir.
If I was to look at them, not know the band members in person, and was asked to guess what type of band they were, I'd peg them as an Evanescence or Lacuna Coil sounding band, but they have an old school death metal type sound.

"Kansas" was in the studio of our local Fox affiliate this morning because that tour is here tonight. They played an acoustic song from their new album. I have to say, even though there's only one remaining original member they sounded pretty good. The new singer isn't that far off from Steve Walsh in his prime.
