I wanted to see the Misfits. But I found out the dickies, D.I., and Total Chaos are opening. Now I don't wanna go since I don't like those bands. But when I saw the dickies and D.I. they both acted like idiots on stage and wouldn't shut up.

Overkill/Prong/Municipal Waste at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ, this Saturday (9/27)

...a buddy called me out of the blue today and asked if I'd be into going to this show with him. He was supposed to go with his brother but his bro had to bail, so the ticket's already paid for. Of course I said "Hell yeah!" I haven't been to a show in a couple of years now, I haven't seen Overkill since 1994 and haven't seen Prong since 1991! Needless to say, I'm stoked. This is gonna be like my senior year of college all over again... though hopefully there'll be less vomiting this time around. Laughing very hard

Nope! Watching Malice die a slow and horrible death supporting Slayer was one of my most memorable concert memories when I look back. I tend to go to see the main show, if that's great, the boring warm up is soon forgotten. I have seen some support acts completely steal the show though.
