Road up to Cincinnati Ohio yesterday to see Deafheaven. It was a fantastic experience, even a friend who tagged along for the trip who isn't much of a metalhead really enjoyed the show.

Recently saw Cattle Decap with King Parrot opening. Decap was short for some reason, well before curfew. They pulled off a tight set but King Parrot was a riot. Really enjoyed their antics like the frontman jumping in the pit while singing. Good times.

Yeah, lots of cool bands in a small area. The Swedish & Finnish scenes are really cool too
