Conceived In Fire happens to be my fave LS album. I really like the 3 new songs on In Memoriam. Had they recorded an entire album with that feel it would have been a killer of an album.

I like these guys, for me one genre that really suffers from same-sounding vocalists is Death Metal, i'm lucky if I can tell one vocalist from another, many of them sound so much alike it's uncanny.

Yes it is. Top of the line Metalcore. You should also look into 2000's The Hammering Process.

I think they do some shows here and there and Lance is doing stuff with his other band, Ironside. Not sure if Soul Embraced(another of his side projects)is doing anything either.

Here’s a vid of them playing a show last year. The last song in the set they bring in DJ( their first vocalist).

The problem with this style of music for me is it tends to be a blur. It's unmemorable. It all blends together with little separating it song for song, yet alone from other artists of the same style. The vocals are one dimensional and only add to the lack of charisma to separate it.

That said, it's nice to hear the return of the guitar solo in this song. The production on the track above sounds outstanding.

The vocals on the 1st Vengeance Rising album are one dimensional too.
