| Mine looks like old school John Petrucci's. Pretty straight and thick but workable with some hairspray. I never go for any wild look. The goal would be to keep it as professional as possible (read: ponytail), which I've seen on occasion with other men in my industry. The weird thing about me is a feel more confident with long hair; there's something about short hair that annoys me. Bizarre, can't explain it. | |

| I grew my hair long after school, mainly because I could as I no longer had to follow the uniform rules which required short hair. I kept it long through most of my time at university, but eventually got tired of managing it - my hair curls a fair amount and living in a windy city it meant it got tangled quite easily.
I now keep it quite short as that requires no maintenance. In addition, I'm starting to thin on top so growing it long probably wouldn't work. I am starting to grey, but that doesn't really bother me.

| My hair grows like F*ck. I do a tour I have to cut it tight - haven't done army in a year, so hair is running down my back. I've been called back, so might get a Mohack to piss the f*cks off. I've been asked to take a platoon into Aghan (can't say where). I'm mulling it over - if u don't hear from me from next Thursday, I've taken the tour. Be back in Feb for 6 month hols as long as we don't get wasted. Wife doesn't want me doing it. ? | |

| I had a sweet long mullet back in the day. Then that turned into a caveman type 'do in my twenties. Pretty much alternated between that look and cutting it shorter then grow it out again. It would also get curly the longer it got. Even flirted with dreads at one point. But with time nature had other plans and it was getting obvious I wasn't long for hair. About four years ago after seeing a photo of myself at the beach I went directly to the local barbershop and had them take it all off. Been rocking the dome ever since. And to be honest, knowing what I know now I would've shaved my head the second I knew I had hair. It's just easier this way. Only downside is the occasional sunburn of stupidity. My baby girl loves to pat my shaved head. It's like the go-to when she needs settling. " /> | |

I do a 3 on top and a 2 everywhere else now anyway so it's not that big of a leap. But in the past several weeks I've started letting my beard grow in (mostly gray of course) and I'm not sure how good that would look with a bald head. But I'm with you jstate; no combover, no toup, just shave it. Cute pic BTW. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Okay, so I'm not a TV guy at all so I had to look it up. Pretty crazy. Even some of the posture and mannerisms are similar. I'm thinking I might even go full on goatee to complete the whole thing. And to think all these years I had a ready made halloween character to go as. No more of the traditional Jason I break out every year out of lack of ideas! - Quote :

I started to realize once the thinning started in spots and I was doing the hair-spray/hair dryer sculpting thing that that was the start of the ridiculous road to an eventual combover. I also wasn't about to do like so many others I know and start dropping serious coin on things like rogaine and restorations. And even if a long full head of hair could be achieved - ehhh, I like it better this way.

| I don't know, I'm thinking even with going bald, I'd just go the Paul Heyman look or the Devin Townsend skullet. Just for the hell of it . Luckily, I don't foresee me going bald. | |

| I'm thankfully in little danger of going bald. Also I see nothing wrong with baldness (sign of wisdom). However, if I did I would wear a wig.
Really, I would. | |
