Naturally I had downloaded that Divinyls from itunes a few months back but given that it goes for insane prices I had to take a shot for three bucks. Perfect condition too. Secondspin screwed up the Zebra since it was supposed to be the double with Tellin No Lies. I'm probably going to hang on to it, but just out of principle they're still getting a complaint email.

It's better than the last one but I still think their debut is better.

I never gave The Mission a chance back in the day, I was too gutted about the split up of the classic Sisters of Mercy line up. Any good?

I would rank them right up there with Blondie and the Pretenders. Maybe even better on some days.

They don't sound anything like Sisters Of Mercy but you should really give them a shot, especially their first 3 or 4 albums "Gods Own Medicine", "The First Chapter", "Children" and "Carved In Sand" and maybe "Grains Of Sand" (which was left over songs from the "Carved In Sand" album) After that their style went from Goth to more of mainstream rock. Not that the later albums aren't good like "Masque", "Aura" and one of my favorites "God Is A Bullet" the Goth influence was just not there.
The newest album is even more straight forward rock than any album they have done. I've listened to it twice and I still feel the same I felt about it on first listen. Its ok and what I expected, but its not a bad album. Definitely not my favorite album but there are some good songs.
Check these songs out from their older albums
This is kind of what they ended up turning into
And this is off the new album
Sorry so much info but I love the band

I don't have an opinion yet. I just randomly picked up Live On the other day on the cheap, and I was pretty damn impressed. Really good album.
So now, of course, I must find all of them. Haha.
