Anyone else here heard these guys before? I picked up Aftermath the other day and found it to be a pretty good listen. I first heard of them watching my Get Thrashed DVD.

That's a really good album. I have this version:
That's a limited edition version, I believe (CDs are packed away at the moment), but it's been re-released at least one other time with different, more modern-looking artwork.
Great band. Shame they're so relatively unknown.
The label who released the version I have also re-released Villian's Only Time Will Tell album with a bunch of bonus tracks. Like the Warning SF album, it's excellent...and sadly pretty underrated.

I wish I could. I have Windows 8 on this new laptop though and it is the most unuser friendly thing I've ever used before. They're an oldschool San Francisco thrash band from the early 80's that never put out a whole lot music but were quite well known. They have a Myspace page where you can listen and of course are on Youtube as well. They're really nothing special, but I like checking out all the bands from that era and scene.

Well it looks like someone posted, while I was typing my post, with some stuff. Cool.

VILLAIN had excellent vocals but I never thought their songs were too hot.

I have the Masoleum version with the two bonus tracks. Got it real cheap. I think the band used to sell their own copies of the album too. Well worth seeking out.
Is the Villain disc with the live bonus stuff a cdr? Or should I just go with the Masoleum version?

I don't recall it being a CDR, but unfortunately it's all packed away. Really packed away now, because I moved all my totes of CDs from my basement to a storage earlier this week. So I can't even attempt to check. =(
But I don't ever recall complaining that it was a CDR, so I doubt it was.

Actually, I reviewed it long ago and don't mention it, so...
Yeah they were quite the band! We (AoB) played with them in San Fran at Tidal Wave 10. Very cool guys too!

I still have the first release by this album (AFTERMATH) from 2002, that comes with some 80s tracks, from a demo. I will have to play this again soon to know how they sound like because i dont remember.
