Ted Nugent - Love Grenade

Anyone pick up the new Nugent CD yet? I pre-ordered my copy through TedNugent.com. No fear of Ted selling out to trends. This is 100% bombastic, full bluntal, Nugent, rock-n-roll. The title track, Still Raisin Hell, & FUNK U are all prime Nugent.

I thought the title was "Love Grenade," not "Love Bomb?"

Not much into Nugent, but that album has some pretty intense "limited edition" artwork.

I started to pick it up at Wal-Mart the other night,but decided to wait.Been spending too much money on cds lately

I got a few I need to look for tomorrow. It may be time I picked up a few Nuge CDs.

Is Uncle Ted only giving the Limited Edition to his country? I didn't find it...!

I bought it this evening, but haven't had a chance to listen to it yet, but I will soon and post back.

If you mean the limited edition cover, then you can only get it through TedNugent.com. It is not available in stores.

Actually, the limited edition cover, comes with both covers. The girl-on-a-plate cover is an additional insert.

From what I've heard so far it's definitely Nuge. It's damn good though, nice and heavy. Sleaze rock at it's best.

I'm a Nugent fanatic, so I guess my opinion is a bit biased, but I can't stop listening to it. I'm really diggin' it.

Do you think that Ted might need another singer, in the vein of Derek St. Holmes to sing the more laid back tracks? He sounded a bit out of his element on tracks like "Spirit of the Buffalo" and "Lay With Me" IMO.

I thought about grabbing this one th other day after hearing "Stranglehold" on the radio the other day and remembering good old "Nuge.

It's a GREAT album. Classic.

Never really listened to Nugent's solo works, but I listen to Amboy Dukes a lot

Really? At 16 years old you listen to the Amboy Dukes? I'm suprised.

Which Amboy Dukes album do you like the best?

My favorite is Tooth Fang and Claw, although I also like Call of the Wild a lot too.

Maybe we should open a new forum for ol' Ted. There seems to be ALOT of man-love around here for this hack.
