- Superman vs Hollywood by Jake Rossen, interesting chapters on the long journey to make Superman Returns, spending $50 million per one single frame had even been shot
Just finished this book (on Manfred's recommendation) and enjoyed the heck out of it, lots of good stories in here. I had no idea that there was so much behind-the-scenes drama even during the making of the "good" Superman movies (i.e. the first two Reeve films), and the aborted "Superman Reborn" in the 90s sounds like it would've been a train wreck of Biblical proportions...thankfully the project was killed and we were all spared its horror. Reading this book almost made me wanna pull out my dusty VHS copies of "Superman III" and "IV." Notice I said "almost." _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

I rewatched the Superman movies ( I, II, The Donnor Cut and Returns) and even Supergirl, which I somewhat enjoyed ( believe it or not) but I like yourself can't bring myself to watch III and IV

I last saw "IV" a few years ago when my then-five-year-old was on a superhero kick and he asked to watch it. It had been probably 20 years since I'd last seen it and wow, I'd forgotten how awful that movie was...the only highlight was the scene in the Daily Planet office when Mariel Hemingway put her feet up on a desk and the camera trailed up her legs. I haven't seen "III" in even longer than that but I did come across my old copy of the comic book adaptation some time ago and after re-reading it I sez "Yeah, that was pretty dumb" _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

What did you think of these books? Actually, I'm still workin' my way thru Book #1, I put it aside to read that Superman book I posted about earlier, haha. I'm going to get back into it now. I've been enjoying it thus far, and #2 is in my knapsack waiting for its turn. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Not so much about Fett, but the Mandolorians in general & an interesting look at the Jedi & the Clone Wars from the clone/Mando perspective.

This was excellent. Rex details the band from their earliest days to the very end and the book is loaded with interesting tidbits.

Did he write about the time Terry Glaze passed out in a hotel room in Oklahoma City and they handcuffed him out in the hall naked to a doorknob and the other hand to a blow up sex doll ? Or the time Darrell's 71' Camaro broke down in Arlington and he showed up to the club in Ft. Worth riding on a girl's 10 speed bike ? ( wearing spandex and mascara) I could go on and on _________________
