and also no longer together... Psychromatic is prolly one of my fav albums out there right now. Their mixture of prog/melo/power metal is genius. They were rly going in the right direction IMO... Im pretty sure there is a thread with these guys let me look...

I was expecting the cookie monster vox due to the description in the original post. I can see "melodic" in that cover tune of MJ but nothing remotely close to "death metal".
