a year in my life that so many bands I love all had releases in the
same year....Not to mention so many good ones!

Last year was also pretty badass for metal/rock releases. This year is right up there with 2006. Definitely some killer album got a release this year.

Still a lot of CDs to come this year. Still waiting on the new Ted Nugent (out today, my preorder didn't make it yet), Once Dead, Rob Rock, Overkill, Avenger of Blood....

Damn good year thus far though.

2007 has been a pretty decent year for me when it comes to music.... It's better than 2006 for sure.... picking some favorites is too hard right now with so many cool stuff still due to be released.

I write reviews (and do interviews) for a Dutch magazine and a Dutch e-zine and thus far I have received many great cds.

Too bad that my musical taste ranges from jazz from the early part of last century to grindcore and everything in between.....

Oh well.... I'll fabricate another music storage-thingie.

I wonder what 2008 is going to be like....

I agree, 2007 has been pretty good for Metal. In 2006 there was also a lot of good releases and it was easy for me to pick my favourites ("Plurima Mortis Imago" by Devilish Impressions was one of them), but this year it's difficult to pinpoint my absolute favourites.

This has been made even more difficult because - like ScottMitchell74 said - I'm struggling to keep up financially with all of the releases!

I'm still waiting to get my grubby little mitts on the following:

Now that I think about it, I think I'm the same this year. I just seem to have bought a ridiculous amount of music... and my 'Wish List' doesn't seem to be getting any smaller!

Me too. I like it. Not sure what all the naysayers are upset over. It sounds like Annihilator to me. I guess all the guest artists threw some people for a loop.

I can recommend it also. In my opinion it is a really good one.
