Quite a nice find, where these all at one store? Been looking for some Stray Cats but no luck yet, at least around here (and we have no vinyl store here, only garage sales). The last one I went to was pretty good. His add in the paper said "Vinyl Records, NO CRAP MUSIC!". I bought the ones in my previous post, also Sammy Hagar's self-titled (I Never Said Goodbye). Was nice to see that on vinyl. Just mad at myself for not grabbing Rush Hemispheres.

Came back in from Pittsburgh last night and found a package! Woo-whooooo!
Here are the CD versions
I left the shrink wrap on the outside. I took out the paper sleeve (I hate those) and replaced with a poly-sleeve. Deliverance I have number 14. Ultimatum I have number 8!

My Battle Ruins LP did come in yesterday. I'll post up a pic soon.
I went to a horror convention a couple weeks ago and composer Alan Howarth was a guest. I got him to sign my original Escape from New York LP, as well as the recent They Live reissue:
Also, a recent re-buy. One of my favorite hardcore bands from the turn of the millennium:

Thanks, I might try and grab those soon. I hope the Stone Dagger 7" gets repressed because I sold my tape (for $60), and planned to get the vinyl. Then I missed it when it went on sale and it sold out. Ha.

Aerosmith - Rock in a Hard Place (180 gram reissue/ #305)
Judas Priest - Nostradamus (3LP box set) a disappointing purchase not because of the music but because of the genius in packaging.

No they used plastic sleeves, not unlike those you see on picture discs. The chemicals in the picture disc reacted with the vinyl and what you see is what you get. It seems everyone who has purchased this has the same problem.

I haven't bought a picture disc in a long, long time, but I used to hate how those plastic bags would stick to them. So obnoxious.

Someone from work just gave me over 100 albums free. Too many to list but its everything from AC/DC to ZZ Top. They've been in a shed for 20+ years so you can imagine some are in terrible shape. Some have held up well. Physical Graffiti looks to be VG+. Back In Black didnt have a surface mark on it was was warped worse than anything I have ever seen .

Off the top of my mind here is what he gave me.... They are incredibly dirty and smell like a musty old shed.
AC/DC - If You Want Blood, Back In Black, For Those About To Rock, Flick Of The Switch Too many 3 Dog Night to mention Led Zep - 2 copies of Led Zep II (which are garbage), 2 copies of Houses (also garbage), IV, Physical Graffiti and Presence (which looks like someone used it to change oil or something, it is extremely dirty but the vinyl itself is VG+. California Jam 2 Rare Earth Live ZZ Top's First Album Rod Stewart boxed set Several Clapton Albums Several Montrose Several Aerosmith Cheap Trick Too many Billy Joel Several from REO Speedwagon Several by Styx Bad Co - Straight Shooter and Desolation Angels King Kobra - Forgot which one but I think it has a roller coaster on the cover Deep Purple - Perfect Strangers Saxon - Innocence Is No Excuse Kick Axe - Dont remember which one
Way too many others to list including some disco and Neil Diamond
Back In Black:
Led Zep:
They were full of dirt and bugs. I had to vacuum the whole dining room when I was done. Many of them I didn't even look at because I just wasn't interested in them. So I moved them into my own shed. Considering they had been in his shed in the Florida heat for over 20 years says a lot about how versatile vinyl is. Out of all of them Black In Black was the only warped one I found.

In the early 2000s I did vocals for a hardcore band. About half of my band was in another hardcore band called Dead Serious. They released a CD at the time. Now, over a decade later, a small local label has done a vinyl pressing of the record. So I had to get it. I got the pink vinyl out of 70.

Yeah I've always found pink vinyl and purple vinyl to be my favorite colors to be pressed on...not sure why, just appeals to me.
