I work at a Paper Mill. We have over 500 employees so I put an ad in the local "daily highlights" asking for albums. One of my friends gave me quite a few. Aerosmith, several Zeppelin Albums, The Eagles, Ted Nugent and quite a few funk records. Some were in terrible shape but that's ok. I did my best to clean then up. Here are a few he gave me:
I have no idea who those bands are. There was also a Rick James (bitch!) and a Cameo album.

I know I've told this story on here before but many years back my local library had a hallway where people would donate stuff for the library to sell. My score was six huge crates filled with vinyl for all of five bucks. Lots of pristine funk and soul was in there. I love it, so a great find for me.
Got this off an amazon seller for six bucks. May go back for more he was selling - although the packaging sucked and he apparently mis-addressed it too. Big time want for me however. And despite the stupid band name it is a killer e.p.. The green vinyl looks great too. " />

Nice collection Shawn.
Jstate I wasn't aware Target sold vinyl. How much did you pay for it? I think mine was like 23 on Amazon when I ordered it this summer.

11 bucks. I'd read on a bargains site a few months back about people finding these. My Target only just this week discounted them. They also had Revolver and Abbey Road. The Pink Floyd and U2 ones were 15. Holding out for those to come down some more. At least at my Target the vinyl is stashed over by the record players pretty well hidden away.

That is a good get!!!!!
I'm currently reading a bio on Nirvana and the author just casually scoffed off Cat Butt as a terrible Seattle band. My memory of them was different so that led to my search for it. It's a really good E.P. that makes me wish they did more. Name still sucks though.

yesterday I bought UFO's "Strangers In the Night" from a thrift stone for $2. Never heard it before but I figured what the heck. Everybody and their brother says it is one of the greatest live albums from the 70's, so I thought why not.

Agreed.
EDIT: looking on ebay, it seems like you got a great deal. Most copies are going for no less than 10 bucks before shipping. Good find, sir.

It's ok. I owned it once before and enjoyed it. It's not Animalize for sure.
