- Ozzy may very well be "embarrassed" by how he dressed during The Ultimate Sin era.
If he's not, we should all be embarrassed FOR him. He looked like Liz Taylor on crack in those days. It's also been said that he resembled Bea Arthur around that time.

Also, after a quick look on Amazon, "Shot in the Dark" is omitted from the currently in print version of the Ozzman Cometh collection.
And I know it used to be there, as my brother had the CD when it came out. That lends something to the legal battle, I think.
Or it could lend to the embarassment angle, too, I suppose. Hmm. If he's embarrassed by "Shot In The Dark" but not "Crazy Babies" or "Tattooed Dancer", then I would like to submit that I believe him to still be on drugs. _________________ FINAL SIGN

But NRFTW was the 2nd Ozzy album I got, after Diary, and I was in 7th grade at the time, so that could have something do with it. I enjoy the whole NRFTW album. I don't really care for Shot in the Dark though. It's okay. I do like the whole rest of The Ultimate Sin album.

- Randy Rhoads just kills it on Iron Man, Children of the Grave and Paranoid, on Tribute.
I was listening to the record yesterday for the first time in probably 10 years. Those tracks are so amped up, they just smoke.
I know it's not Randy on Speak of the Devil (right?), but now I am itching to get that live record, for all those Sabbath tracks. SotD is the only Ozzy-related album, pre-No More Tears, that I have never owned.
Also, side note, anyone know why SotD and Ultimate Sin were not included in the 2002 reissues, and have basically been deleted? I have the orginal SOTD on LP - pity you live in the States as I'd give it to you for nothing. Its just gathering dust in my attic with a few hundred other metal lps. I should get a needle, but my house is too f,ucking small to rig up my old stereo from the 80's as its a beast and lives at home in my parents attic.

| I have my ways concernng Sabbath. Leave original Sabbath tunes to that line up. Gillian (IMHDO) was close to being right with the Ozzy tunes. Dio, who is a far superior singer to Ozzy, never sounded right on the original songs either. Rhoads and Gillis were way too busy and lost that vibe that makes Iommi who he is. My feelings on other drummers trying to play Wards stuff is well known here, so I won't kick that horse in the butt. I've got virgin ears regarding any live stuff from the Tony Martin era shows, so I cannot run my mouth about that _________________ | |

I've got virgin ears regarding any live stuff from the Tony Martin era shows, so I cannot run my mouth about that I'm keeping my ass off comenting on Black Sabbath - way too much who was the best in there. All I will say is: very sad how Bill Ward was treated over money, and Sabbath should quit trying to call it the origional Sabbs, as it is clearly not without Bill. Greed is a terrible thing, and Tony and Ozzy need to look at themselves over this. But Tony Martin I remember him. I stopped buy Sabbath after Ronnie. Gillian was interesting, I saw Sabbath with him at a joke of festival, and the sound was so bad, you could barely hear a word. Gillian's voice was shot by that stage and it was more hype than anything having him in the band.
