Very good, laid back album. Really, really good songs. That GT album is kind of like DTC to me...I've spun it twice now and there are 4 or 5 songs that are decent to good...the rest is below average to downright bad. _________________ FINAL SIGN

I've never fully understood the cult fanbase of Queensryche. I feel like they are one of the most cult bands in metal. People that love them, LOVE THEM. I really only like, I mean fully full on like, three of their songs: "Queen of the Reich", the first song on The Warning, and "Empire". And "Empire" is probably just more out of familiarity, from when they used to play the video a lot. Just a random thought. To each their own and everything.

Just a random thought. To each their own and everything. I get it. Few bands have ever matched their consistency. It is my opinion that up through Hear In The Now Frontier they were great. I know a lot of people dislike that album, but I think it is their last truly great one. Different, sure, very different, but still a great collection of songs. That's seven albums, the first five of which most consider to be classic metal albums. Two of which, Mindcrime and Empire, will always be considered two of the greatest albums ever recorded.

Got the same combo myself! That's a great EP. Killer title track and I really like their cover of Trashed.

I haven't heard that particular Diamond Rexx album. Tossed it in and spun a few tunes earlier. Guitar player had a good tone for the style and the riffs were not bad. The singer is just bland. Gonna finish it out later, if/ when the time comes for reading. _________________

| I have yet to come across an Angels record that I didn't love. My goal is to get their whole discography. I buy every one I come across. I've gotten real lucky in getting most them real cheap. For whatever reason Amoeba always has a few and they mark them well below the amazon rates. | |

| I got 'em all but some of them were pretty pricey. I think "Skin and Bones" is probably their weakest album but even that one has some great tracks. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Well, this was a major waste of money. Turns out to be a single song CD. I paid $4 for one damn song! I need to be more careful when CD shopping at HPB as this and many EPs are sold at the same prices as full lengths.

I've been on the lookout for WB for a quite a while and this place has turned up great finds in the past. Plus, I've never seen a one song CD at HPB before. I normally look at what I buy of course, but this was a case of misplaced optimism and willful stupidity. There are several used copies of the actual album for just over a few bucks at Amazon ($2.01) so I could just order one and end up chocking up to a slightly overpriced used CD.
