Lost Horizon

I know Euro flower-metal fans are pretty scarce on this board, but all you naysayers should really check these guys out. Specifically their album "Awakening the World".



The first time I listened to this, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Seriously some of the best stuff out there from the Euro-power camp.

I don't know what's up with the link, but any mods who see this are welcome to fix it.

Yeah, I was jamming this band's stuff a lot this week. The singer is fan-freaking-tastic.

good stuff. Their first album is excellent though the second one isnt quite as good.

I love the band Heed formed by their singer. Killer material with slight modern touch.

I have A Flame To The Ground Beneath and love it. Killer vocals and some interesting musical arrangements,

Haven't listened in awhile, need to pull them out.

I never really got intl them much!

Very good band although not a major major favorite in the particular genre. My favorite is probably 'World Through My Fateless Eyes' or 'Pure'. The third album is yet another 'Chinese Democracy' of metal.

I got both of their albums recently. Very good stuff - classic 90s-sounding euro power metal.

My favorite so far is Awakening the World.

If you like Lost Horizon you may also want to check out Twisted Tower Dire and Stormwarrior - both have that heroic epic feel.
