A coworker has successfully got me "mildly" interested in some blues rock. He's a huge collector and fan in an obsessed way that would make guys around here proud.
He keeps feeding me CD after CD. Most I honestly can say I have enjoyed.
My favorites so far: Joe Bonamassa (all three albums I've heard are awesome) Tommy Castro Jimmy Thackery
All are very rock guitar driven with constant riffage and shredding. Very cool stuff.
Anybody else like these guys or stuff in the same genre?

If you like Joe Bonamassa, check out the album "Don't Explain" where he teams up with Beth Hart:

I saw Thackery live about 20 years ago and it was smoking.

Rex Carroll (of Whitecross fame) released a pretty bad-ass blues-rock album a year or two ago:

Have you heard Arc Angels? The rythym section of SRV play on it and it's a good listen.

FF is correct. This is very enjoyable, although if you are expecting Whitecross you will be in for a shock.

My uncle just turned me on to this guy, he reminds me a lot of early Kenny Wayne Shepherd with a huge southern rock vibe.

And you can't forget about Greg Chaisson, he played bass for Red Sea, Badlands, and Die Happy. I love this album quite a bit. Solid heavy bluesy rock.

Very Nice!! I only have the digital version from iTunes and I hate that albums like this don't have liner notes.
