Last night popped the ol' Blu-ray cherry, so-to-speak (remembered that my PS3 is a blu-ray player) Got the new Batman flic in a combo pack for $19.99.
The movie was long and drug out, the ending wasn't too much of a surprise. They did do a good job with the major plot twist, ya know the betty being the puppet master. Though in hind-sight, it was a child that escaped from The Pit and it doesn't make sense dude got the Mortal Kombat grill after growing up "FREE".
Entertaining, mostly due to watching the format on a proper medium. My only form of real curiosity is regarding the possibility of the actors playing Batman and Robin in this film are gonna pay the roles in the upcoming Justice League flic ?

Doctor Detroit
I loved this as a kid. First R-Rated movie I ever saw I believe. I think it was played on a loop on HBO back in the day. Held up pretty well. It was a fun view. Had forgotten about the tease of Doctor Detroit 2 : The Wrath Of Mom at the end. The Devo theme song still rules.

"Prometheus" (2012)
Ridley Scott's return to the "Alien" universe is an atmospheric, creepy slow-burner about a space mission to discover the origins of humankind... that finds something else instead. Beautifully filmed, great performances by Charlize Theron (as a corporate bitch) and Michael Fassbender (as the deceptively friendly android), tons of eye candy and horrific set pieces. It's not quite an "Alien" flick, which is what pissed off a lot of fanboys who were hoping to see chestbursters and face-huggers galore, but it's close enough for me. Neat stuff.

Except for a group of scientists they sure violate a lot of basic scientific protocols regarding quarantines.

That's true. "Hey, we've discovered the severed head of an extraterrestrial humanoid! This is the most momentous find in our history! It could teach us everything about the origins of man....so let's blow it up like a potato in a microwave!"

Doing some mindless channel surfing last night, I discovered "Tattoo Nightmares". Folks come in to this parlor in LA (?) and show off their bad ink mistakes and the 3 tattoo artists cover them up with new designs.
For a "reality show", it's not too bad. It's only a half hour and the drama is kept to a minimum. 3 different artists take on 3 different clients per episode. It's cool to see them design, then completely cover-up someones old tats. The only slight misstep is that they re-create the scenes of people telling the story of how they got the bad tat in the first place. That's kinda lame.

"Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman" (2003)
Feature length spin-off from the early '00s "Adventures of Batman & Robin" animated series finds yet another new vigilante in Gotham - a mysterious Batwoman, who's intent on taking down an illegal-weapons scheme run by the Penguin and Rupert Thorne. Her identity could be one of three women in Bruce Wayne's life, and Batman has to figure out which one.
This one's not as dark n' gritty as the 1990's "Batman: The Animated Series" film spin-offs or the more recent "DC Animated Universe" flicks, (and the animation's not quite as nice as either of them, to boot) "Batwoman" is more kid-friendly than the other Batman toons I've been watching lately but there's still plenty of action. I enjoyed it but I preferred "Under the Red Hood" and "Mask of the Phantasm."

Excellent concert film (though a few too many video effects), the sound is AMAZING.

There's a 4 & 5?
I've had 3 for years but reviews have scared me off ever watching it. I loved 1 & 2 though.

Oh yeah. I've seen them all but the 5th. They're just dumb horror movies. Nothing less, nothing more.
