12 Years in the making! My train layout. Baltimore & Ohio

My line is Baltimore & Ohio. I grew up in Ohio, with relatives in Baltimore, so I gravitated to this line. I also will have elements of Chesepeake & Ohio and CSX and probably Conrail as well (what was around my neck of the woods as a kid.

The baseball side is set in the late 50's Southeastern Ohio. Baseball was still king. This is a rickety old minor league park. The trailer park is the 50-80's. So, the general motif is 50's, but I'll have some situational 80's stuff.

That is awesome. Wish I had the time and patience to make something that great. Always loved train sets. I could probably sit there for hours watching that train make it's run.

Thanks for the kind words, fellas. I had fun making it. I still have a few small details. I need a lot more fans, but they are expensive and it'll take a while to fill it in and make it look like a real crowd.

Great stuff. I had a 4x8 setup when I was younger, two lines running parallel, one passenger, one freight. Loads of fun. I never got into the detail you put into that, impressive.
