I remember when I first discovered the album "Tied To The Trax". I was completely blown away. This album became THE album that was traded and traded and traded between my circle of friends in the 80's. I havent really cared to listen to Mushroomhead, Jeff Hatrix's (lead singer) band, because what I have heard...well isnt Purgatory! LOL
I was floored to find a video on youtube!
Somewhere amongst my vinyl, I have a Purgatory EP. Im gonna have to dig that one out and.....well I dont have a turntable set up so I guess I will just gaze upon it.
I've been trying to get a CD copy of Tied To The Trax for a LONG time now! I've had a burn of it for about 4 years, but I want the real friggin' deal! Excellent album!!!
You may want to try Jeff's band just after this one simply called Hatrix.

Ive never been able to track down the Hatrix album. I've always wanted to hear that one. Like you all I have is a burn of Tied To The Trax. I think a friend of mine finally came across the real deal once. He was the envy of our little metal circle!
Love them, I think my disc may be a bootleg though.

Bought this cd on EBay recently…… only 200 copies printed ? Lol. Says that. So - 26 bucks in total. Other countries selling it for major money ? Seen this album on someone’s YouTube channel - listening list. - once or twice. Love the painting - like an early Iron Maiden artwork reject. What sold me - this could be Blackie Lawless’s brother on vocals ! Some songs sound like early WASP demos. For thrash - it’s a very dreamy listen. Love that. 1986.
