Best hair metal albums of the 2000s?

You're right, I thought about that the day after my post. However, MHR and hair metal are so closely related that many MHR was called hair metal and that goes both ways.

And to split hairs even further, technically I think bands like Crashdiet, Reckless Love, Hardcore Superstar, etc fall more into the "sleaze" category. Don't ask my why because I don't actually know; it's a visceral reaction.

So as far as I'm concerned, all the bands mentioned in this thread qualify for the original intent.

I love that Bang Your Head album.

I gave up a long time ago trying to break this genre down and have just come to the point of lumping it all into "hair metal". Never cared for that term but it just makes it easier for discussion purposes.

Another album I really like is White Lion's Return Of The Pride.

Crashdïet hands down!
